Magoo Knoxville Concert reviews
Atlanta Theresa Caputo Show Review 10/20/13
I love their show and wanted to experience witnessing their gift in person, so I purchased tickets to see Magoo live.
For the people who really want to receive a reading, I would say the probably increases the closer you are to the stage particularly in the VIP section. The reading began in the VIP section and moved through the front part of the orchestra.
Sometimes 10 to 15 minutes, the readings often weren’t short and lasted a fair amount of time. By the time they made it to the middle orchestra seating maybe row K there was 30 minutes left of the show. They did walk throughout the crowd going from section to section.
Magoo did do one or two readings in the balcony, but it lasted maybe 10 minutes and then they traveled back down the stairs.
A lot of people brought items of their deceased loved ones. To focus on some of the positives, the readings were amazing. Often the topics were very personal, which is why I won’t reveal any of the readings they gave. The venue was very strict on not allowing video being taken of the readings. Other people that wrote reviews wrote specifics, but I don’t feel it is my place.
They had a camera crew follow them around and the reactions of the family members were very emotional. Magoo wanted the entire audience to feel involved even if you didn’t get a reading.
They wasted the first 30 minutes of the show talking about themselves and other topics when most of the audience just wanted them to get to the readings. The reason I didn’t give the show 5 stars.
If you love their TV show, I would recommend you going. Magoo has a lovely personality and they were very entertaining. If you are looking to get a private reading, please understand out of the 4,000 people in the Fox, only about 12-15 people got readings, it could have been less.
